The Syracuse University men’s soccer team is reaching out to the community by organizing a spring break soccer camp for local children. The camp, scheduled to take place from April 22-26 at the SU Soccer Stadium, aims to provide boys and girls aged 5 to 13 with a fun and educational soccer experience.

Head coach Ian McIntyre, along with associate head coach Jukka Masalin, assistant head coach Carter Lincoln, and current team members, will be leading the camp, offering instructions and guidance to the young participants. Lincoln emphasized the goal of the camp, stating, "Fun is the priority. We want to inspire young soccer players and instill a passion for the game."

The camp activities will focus on fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and competitive play. Lincoln highlighted the importance of teaching these fundamentals through engaging activities and exercises. He also mentioned the camp's role in strengthening the team's bond with the Syracuse community, acknowledging their significant support for the program.

In addition to skill-building sessions, the camp offers an opportunity for campers and their families to interact with the coaching staff and student-athletes, fostering a sense of community and connection. The cost of the camp is $200 per child, and those interested can find more information or register by visiting www.susoccercamps.com or emailing susoccercamps@gmail.com.
