Auxiliary Services Welcomes New Executive Chef for Campus Dining

Syracuse native, Chef Ilana Cahill, has been appointed as the new Executive Chef for Campus Dining at Syracuse University. Cahill's culinary journey began at the iconic Dinosaur BBQ in her hometown, where she spent nine years moving up the ranks from a hostess to management positions.

The University is excited to have Cahill on board during a period of innovation and growth within Campus Dining. According to Cahill, "New concepts and recipes are being developed, Chef Cahill and her colleagues are exploring the latest food trends and implementing them in dining centers, and renovations have been made to several key dining facilities."

Cahill's transition from restaurant manager to Executive Chef at Syracuse University showcases her dedication and expertise in the culinary field. Her experience in managing restaurants in the Rochester area has equipped her with the skills necessary to lead the dining services at the University.

With Cahill at the helm, students and staff can look forward to exciting new culinary experiences and a fresh perspective on campus dining. Her background and passion for food promise to bring an elevated dining experience to Syracuse University.
